My opposing statement? I like Peeta Mellark; the boy with the bread. I always have. :P Sure, Gale is pretty darn awesome, but I've always wanted her to end up with Peeta more than Gale. :/ Sure, he frustrated me when he was hijacked, but I knew that same ol' Peeta was in there somewhere.

Peeta was always meant to finish first, ever since the moment when he gave her the bread. :) While I do love Gale and I really want him to be happy, he never was meant to end up with katniss. I mean, come on now. If he REALLY wanted to be with her, he would've taken a flight to district twelve. But no. He didn't dogger. Peeta, on the other hand, was there to comfort katniss when she was down and lost.
