Ohmycrudsticks.

Have you ever seen "Sleepless in Seattle"?
It's so. Freaking. Amazing.
I hate to sound all valley girl, but, like, oh my gosh, it's like, so romantic, and like, totally gorgy.
Translation: The acting is superb, Tom Hanks is hilarious as always, the plotline is terribly romantic & comedic, and the allusions to "An Affair to Remember" are so funny. (But they only make sense if you've seen "An Affair to Remember".)

As for "An Affair to Remember" itself, that's amazing as well. Cary Grant is such a charmer, as is Deborah Kerr. ("Is it car? Cur?" - from "Sleepless")
Why do romantic movies make me feel so warm inside?
Sweet baby Jesus, I really am waiting for my Meg Ryan moment, aren't I?
(Let's face it; she ends up with the guy in every single movie. Can't she fail at love at least once? Leave some man hunk for the rest of us? Tom Hanks, Hugh Jackman...she's taken all the hotties.)

In other news (a recap of the month of September)...
- The social aspect of school is amazing.
- The academic aspect of school isn't as horrible as predicted.
- The culinary aspect of school (ex: cafeteria food, cafeteria food, and cafeteria food) sucks dragon balls.
- Homecoming dance was unbelievably lame.
- Getting together with twenty people before Homecoming dance was unbelievably fun.
- I'm really starting to appreciate after-school clubs.
- That 87 in World Area Studies is staring me down. With a snarl. It's just looking at me, challenging me to a duel. "Wanna go, mamacita? That's right, I'm calling you out."
- "Inception" is mind-boggling. And hothothothothot (due to Joseph Gordon-Levitt's gun-handling and vest-y suits.)
- Where is the love for crazy, butt-joke-cracking, just-hit-five-feet obnoxiously loud Chinese girls?

That will be all.
[takes a bow and walks out]
